:: Chasecam SS1000 Video Processor

Combine the Chasecam SS1000 with two bullet cameras and a PDR recorder and get real time split screen or picture-in-picture (PIP) video. A range of split screen or PIP formats to choose from.

For use with our line of digital recorders, the SS1000 Video Processor uses the same case as our PDR100. It is smaller, more rugged than competitor products, and when used with the Chasecam bullet cameras, is a more elegant solution with less wires!

The Chasecam SS1000

This is the user input - front end of the SS1000. There is a power switch on the far left with an indicator LED to show you are powered up. Turning the power switch on will also turn on the power output to the 2 bullet cameras. Next to the switch and LED you can see 6 separate switches. Each switch is easy to operate by hand and is clearly labeled as to its function.

Left to Right Switch Functions:

  • Mirror (On-Off)
  • Time Clock (On-Off)
  • Splitscreen - Picture in Picture (PIP)
  • Flip Splitscreen to Vertical split or Change size of PIP
  • Move PIP left or right
  • Move PIP up or down

On the right hand side is two power options. There is a supplied 2.1mm DC jack for fast and easy connection. And also a two pin pluggable terminal block for hard wiring. This terminal block can also function as a junction block to other units. You can also use the terminal block connections as a way to output 12V power to the PDR100.

This is the rear of the unit - as you can see in the above picture, each video input can use the standard Chasecam MiniDIN connector which takes video from, and provides power to the bullet cameras. Less wires! Less hassle. You can still use the same standard RCA style jacks also. Output can also be done using our standard MiniDIN connector or through a standard RCA jack. When connecting to our PDR100 recorder, just use our supplied MiniDIN (male-male) cable.
