Footage is captured directly onto compact flash memory card, the solid state meaning thsat the PDR has no internal moving parts - the only limit to the amount of footage captured is the size of the card, currently up to 16 gig. The footage can be transfered easily to your lap top, home PC/Mac ready for editing and burning to DVD or streamed directly onto your televsion.

Weighing only 420 grammes, the recording unit easily fits in a camera bag, rucksack or large pockt, and when combined with our high quality bullet camera and a helmet mount you can get the high quality footage lacking in cheaper systems for sports such as snowboarding, skydiving, mountain biking, skiing, skateboarding, motorbikes and more, where a simple light system is needed.

For multi camera situations and larger sporting equipment such as cars, powerboats or aircraft, the choice of video processing is available along with many different types of mounts to give superb professional coverage that is easy to edit.

Where would I use it?
Chasecam has been tried and tested across many applications with many more waiting for you to discover!

Motorsports. Capture DVD quality incar footage  of your car racing in competition or on a track day. Chasecam can be mounted in a variety of ways internally making the most of our bullet cameras albility to reduce white out or for more extreme shots mounted  close-to-the-ground to convey a sense of speed on track. Use Chasecam  in car camera for teaching and reviewing your steering and pedal techniques or to review track lines and the position of the car on track. Use Chasecam to show potential sponsors the excitement of motorsport firsthand. Chasecam offers flexibility in terms of the shots you can achieve limited only by your imagincation

Karts. Run the Chasecam on your Kart to shpw the. speed of a kart a few inches off the ground. Try to explain what it is like to someone that has not driven a kart? Now they can literally feel what blinding speed really is all about! We have custom mounts available and are developing some new products specially for karters.

Off Road. allying, endurance and desert. Mount Chasecam to capture the extreme off-road racing. See our video page for some great examples.

Car Club Events or long drives. Use Chasecam and a 8Mb Compact Flash card to capture images and sound of the entire drive and  edit the footage down to a great montage once in the comfort of your own home.

Driving Records and Archival. Use our Chasecam bulletcan with our recorder. Record whenever you drive. If anything happens on your commute, you'll have a record of it.

Drag Racing. Want to have fun? Mount the camera so it videos your competitor. Make sure you point it out to him before you race. Tell him you want him to look good before you upload it to the internet for everyone to see. Change the mount on your next run to show the timing lights and straight ahead racing, and then merge the videos for a cool film clip...or use our split screen unit (SS1000) to capture both at the same time.

Street. Forget the shaky passenger handheld camcorder footage. Now you can capture professional looking and impressive videos. Mount it under the car for some very cool video

Troubleshooting. Suspension Cam!. Place the BulletCam in your engine bay to pick up video and sound while you drive (with sufficient light of course). Or place the BulletCam where it can view your suspension under hard cornering or braking. Wonder what your strut is doing? Now you'll know. Place BulletCam on the side of the car and view your tire flex and camber change under load. Watch people's jaws drop when you show them footage like this! We have successfully used Chasecam to troubleshoot some suspension issues, and to diagnose an engine problem the dealer could not diagnose.!

Around the house and office. This small camera can be used to capture video even away from the cars. Just use the optional 12V transformer or remote battery back and record for use as a Nanny Cam. Or see who's playing with your stuff while you went out to lunch.
